They told me that before they started to film, they had the idea of making Juan’s room look messy to further, follow in representation of a disorganized and messy teen. I thought this was extremely clever and a very small yet important detail to incorporate within our opening. Even though these details may go unnoticed when real teenagers watch films, they still add context whether the viewer realizes it or not.

Filming day 1
Today Juan and Alan were able to meet up to film for Juan’s opening scene where he wakes up and goes about his morning routine before realizing his reflection. I feel bad I wasn’t there to help with filming but I had a bit of an emergency friday night, but I trust them to create amazing shots.
